Today, the 6th of april 2016 a remarkable event was organized and undertaken by the Faculty of Forestry and Nature conservation
leaders during the launch of tree planting event

As conservationists, foresters together with wildlife managers took the responsibility to undertake the tree planting activity as an act of conserving nature and reducing the impact of climating change on the total world climate particularly in Morogoro Municipal

The event was headed by the Mayor of Morogoro town his Lordship Mr Pascal Kiyanga together with the dean of the faculty of forestry, staff members and undergraduate students of Bsc,wildlife management and Bsc,forestry.
It was a succesful event despite the rainy weather students together with staff members showed a positive turn up and took part effectively in the event,

Below are some of the photos from the event,

The concluding speech from his lordship the mayor urged the government and all stakeholders in the field of environmental conservation to take part fully in the tree planting activity by making sure that each individual plants atleast one tree, and he promised to take part at the closing day of the tree planting week.
All in all planting trees is very important inorder to reduce the effects of climate change which leads to loss of biodiversity, temperature increase, melting of ice at the top of mountains, increase in sea level resulting to flooding and tsunamis, thus by planting trees the effects of global climate changes and flactuation will be reduced to a great extent thus making the world a much better place to dwell in.
Dear readers, you are all welcome to take part in caring for mother earth by planting a tree in your specific localities.CONSERVATION FOR SUSTAINABILITY!
